Parenting was different from what I imagined.  Luckily I had some nice children who helped me grow along with them.  One thing that I had difficulty with was interacting.  I can spend as much time as I want with my children, but when I "Parallel" play with them, it kind of defeats the point. You would not want to go over to a friends house who wants to watch a sports game, while you want to watch a VHS TRON movie.  Just writing this post is time I could spend interacting with my children.
